Terms and Conditions

Asian Snacks Catering always wants your function/event to be a success. We know the best way to achieve success is to formulate a strong, honest, and open relationship with you, the event organizer. A relationship where communication is clear and expectations from both sides are understood from the beginning.

Asian Snacks Catering services are hired under the terms and conditions set out below and as described in relevant documentation. The payment by any person of any fees and charges for such services and venue facilities shall be deemed to be an acknowledgment and acceptance by such person of these conditions.

  • Quotation
    Once you have discussed your brief, Asian Snacks Catering team will develop a quotation for you based on your individual requirements. This written quotation will remain valid for 14 days from date of issue. In the instance that the event brief alters, we will review and reissue the quotation.
  • Prices
    While all attempts are made to maintain published prices, they may be subject to change at the discretion of Asian Snacks Catering. If prices differ, the client will be informed before the event date. Prices quoted include GST unless otherwise specified.
  • Confirmation of Booking
    Asian Snacks Catering considers confirmation of the event upon receipt of these terms and conditions signed and accompanying payment of the requested deposit by the due date specified. Failure to adhere to this procedure may result in Asian Snacks Catering being forced to cancel the event.
  • Payment Terms
    As many costs are incurred prior to the event date, Asian Snacks Catering has the following payment terms:

    • A deposit, based on a minimum of 50% of total quotation costs, is required to confirm your event. The remaining payment needs to be done before the event date.
    • From your second event, a deposit of just 30% is required.
    • For events with less than 10 days’ notice, full payment is required.
  • Cancellation
    In the instance that you need to cancel your event, the following conditions will apply:

    • All cancellations must be made in writing.
    • If cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the event date, 100% of the deposit will be refunded. If cancellation occurs 14-30 days (inclusive) prior to the event date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
    • If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the event date, the cancellation fee will consist of the total deposit and all non-refundable charges.
    • If the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond the control of either party, such as natural events or government regulations, we will work with you to reschedule the event. In such cases, no refund will be issued, but we will accept the change of event date.
    • Where circumstances beyond Asian Snacks Catering’s control prevent us from fulfilling any obligations, we will be released from this agreement without penalty.
  • Confirmation of Guest Numbers
    • To ensure maximum value and efficiency for you, Asian Snacks Catering requires confirmation of final numbers attending your event at least 10 working days prior to the event date.
    • If the confirmed number of guests increases, Asian Snacks Catering will endeavor to accommodate any requests at late notice, but cannot guarantee availability.
    • Slippage Clause – Asian Snacks Catering reserves the right to requote on revised numbers if the guest count decreases by 10% from the initial proposal.
  • Allergy/Dietary
    • It is essential that you inform us in advance if you or any of your guests have allergies or dietary restrictions related to any of our food ingredients. As our recipes are unique and incorporate a diverse range of Asian ingredients, some components may trigger allergic reactions or conflict with specific dietary needs.
    • To ensure the safety and satisfaction of all guests, please notify us of any concerns in writing during the initial discussions. This will allow us to offer suitable alternatives before the final quote is issued.
    • Please be aware that Asian Snacks Catering cannot accept responsibility for allergic reactions or dietary issues if no prior discussion has taken place before payment is made.
  • Leftover Food
    • In order to maintain the highest food safety standards and to prevent any risk of foodborne illness, we ensure that all our dishes are freshly prepared and adhere to strict food hygiene practices.
    • In compliance with Brisbane City Council regulations, cooked food may be kept at room temperature for a maximum of 5 hours. Therefore, we kindly recommend that our food be consumed within 4 hours of delivery. Any leftover food from the event will be the responsibility of the client. Asian Snacks Catering follows stringent food safety guidelines and cannot guarantee the quality or safety of food once it has been served or delivered. We recommend that any remaining food be consumed within the safe time frame or properly disposed of to prevent potential health risks.

In order to make your event more successful and less stressful, please confirm your agreement with these terms and conditions before you pay the deposit.
